A new report from Solution Reach on the patient experience and patient relationship management (PRM) makes the argument for using patient management technologies like CardioVisual to save physicians and patients time.
PRM has a growing function in the healthcare space. As a piece in Medical Economics explains, “From patient communication to education and reviews, PRM can help automate to save time while also helping to personalize and customize to improve the patient’s experience.” The report further argues that the three main priorities for PRM should be to improve patient communication, reduce the number of no-shows for appointments, and to save staff time.
Medical Economics explains that many of these can be accomplished through automation, making for cost and time savings within practices themselves. As they explain, “A list in Physicians Practice suggests that technologies such as automated appointment reminder systems and check-in technologies (which can improve patient accuracy in providing their medical history) improve practice work flows while also improving the patient experience.”
Of course, we here at CardioVisual are certainly fans of the report’s findings. At CardioVisual, it is our mission to improve patient comprehension of conditions and treatments and save clinicians time. Our solutions for integration of the app into clinics and practices with automation, referral systems and EHR help to further save time for clinicians while better informing patients and improving quality of care.
