This November, CardioVisual is pleased to offer Dr. Wendy Tzou’s insights into the use of Abbott’s Advisor HD Grid Catheter and the precision mapping system. A nationally-known cardiac electrophysiology expert, Dr. Wendy Tzou has 17 years of experience in the field, specializing in cardiac electrophysiology.
Dr. Tzou completed her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University and conducted fellowships in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, both at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. In addition to Dr. Tzou’s clinical work, she serves as an assistant professor on the faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Tzou’s research work has been published in many peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology. Some of her recent publications include: Sudden cardiac death in nonischemic cardiomyopathy: Refining risk assessment and Resynchronization Therapy in Cardiac Sarcoidosis and Severe Heart Failure: When Good May Not Be Good Enough both in the Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, and Hypertension and Cardiac Arrhythmias in EP Europace.
